Changes

My superviser retired today (70yrs old) i've known her for 15years and life will be different

however we gave her a gold bracelet to remember us all !

Not a great deal happening here i was in bed early last night and today a friend visited

after work tonight i'm going to another friends place for tea and i have lots of work planned for Sat /Sun as the painting in the room we're doing must be finished on the 8th of may!

Missed again

Missed blogging yesterday again cause i was budsy plastering cracks and re installing a fire surround..bnearly missed an appointment!


Today i have been busy plastering again and trying to connect to the net (think my ISP had a problem!)


Visited my dad this morning...not looking "flash" but we'll have to wait and see!

Anzac Day 2005

Today is a public holiday!

So why have i been gardening...painting..removing skirting boards....washing and cleaning?

oh well i guess i gotta do it!

Saturday was reasonably busy..washing and gardening watch a bit of footy,a friend came over and we ate at a Chinese resturaunt Today i am finishing watering the garden (hasn't been watered for 2 weeks) 'B' will probably visit ...BTW this is the entrance to his Unit, and after dinner i am going to visit my maye "L" and tomorrow is a holiday YAH!!!!!

it's incredible that we are near the end of April and the weather is still warm

i had a relaxing day
washed the car
went to Henley on the Sea for afternon tea with an aquaintance'
and a short walk along the beach

and currently writing this during the long braek of football between Port Power and Geelong

Port are winning but only just!

OH WELL

geee i missed bloggin yesterday

ummm a lot happened HAHA nah it was an ordinary day

Today i've been to the bank (pay day) hardware store

about to do some painting then gardening

there is a meeting where i work tonight so i;ll have to work my whole shift

How inconsiderate can clients be!

Oh well i'll get over it i guess (maybe even do some work!)

Start of the Week

Monday again and so the cycle goes on

just been doing a few jobs that i've been putting off

cooked chicken masala for dinner and intend to go walking after dinner

LOL i'll try to walk nightly

Weekend

Well it's Sunday night

Sat was very busy i gave the house a good clean and did the washing and a little gardening
Watched Port Power digracefully loose to Carlton the to add salt to the wound i had to watch the Crows beat Sydney and to pour more salt Centrals beat Port Adelaide in the SANL

not a good weekend for sport for me

Anyway besides that last night my friend Bryan came over for tea (BBQ) and today my nephew dropped in and another mate of mine


So pretty busy in all!

Flu Injection

After work this morning i dropped into my Dr and had my injection...while i was there she checked my pulse ect and told me............"loose 9KG" BWAH how awful!

Oh well i'll start dieting tomorrow HAHA

My old friend dropped by this afternoon ..he seems well

Also booked my housemate on a holiday for next month...hehe it'll be like 6 days holidays for me too!

well off to work in an hour!

Mid Week

Wednesday or "Hump day" and a cool change appears to be on it's way(at last)

Visited my dad after work this morning and realised just how frail he is starting to look

I guess a conversation i had with my brother s on the weekend made me aware today..but we'll see

Came home had a 2 hour sleep and did little all afternoon...off to work again in 1/2 hour:(

mowed the lawn and now i'll potter around a bit

LOL i had a ph call early this afternoon...my brother asking me where i was as i was spose to be at a family lunch!

oh well it saved me watching the Power get THRASHED by the crows

Very hot here today high 30's and not much relif in sight...i want winter!

Fri 8th

No blogg yesterday as i have had 2 days off work :(

Busy day today i had a Dr appointment at 4.30 PM HAHAAA
having a flu injection on Thursday and back to work Monday but intend to have a very quiet weekend

Just a Blonde Joke

It was Postman Pat's last day on the job after 35 years of carrying themail through all kinds of weather to the same neighbourhood.

When he arrived at the first house on his route, he was greeted by thewhole family there, who all hugged and congratulated him and sent him onhis way with a gift cheque for $500.

At the second house they presented him fine Cuban cigars in an 18-carat gold box.

The folks at the third house handed him a case of 30-year old Scotchwhisky.

At the fourth house he was met at the door by a dumb blonde in herlinnnngerie. She took him by the arm and led him up the stairs to thebedroom where she blew his mind with the most passionate love he hadever experienced.

When he had had enough they went downstairs, where the dumb blonde fixed
him a giant breakfast: eggs, tomatoes, ham, sausage, blueberry waffles, and freshly-squeezed orange juice. When he was truly satisfied she poured him a cup of steaming coffee.

As she was pouring, he noticed a $5 note sticking out from under the cup's bottom edge. "All this was just too wonderful for words," he said, "but what's the five dollars for?""Well," said the dumb blonde, "last night, I told my husband that today would be your last day, and that we should do something special foryou". "I asked him what to give you".

He said, "F * * * him. Give him five bucks."She smiled shyly and said, "The breakfast was my idea."

Farewell JP II

Sad dayas the world mourns the lost of a great pop (my opinion)

even though i'm not a Catholic or very religious he was a man of peace
which unfortunately the world lacks leaders of peace

Other than that i've had a quiet day (still a bit fluey) watch the Crows win over Collingwood,,had a mate over and watched a disturbing movie on the ABC "Tom Brown's Schooldays"

Didn't do much yesterday as it was April Fools Day,,,just posted a pic in here

Had my old friend visit yesterday and last night went to my friends place and had pizza but unfortunately i didn't feel well and came home early ...and i was so ill i slept for around 11 hours


Today i'm doing the usual Sat domestic stuff and will go shopping later
